yea the issue wasnt getting lovey dovey, it was that due to being in love they wanted to spend more time together (which was hard being from separate villages and having their own responsabilities) so they decided to elope to have more time for their relationship. For the girls (or boys) that just wont happen because they spend 24/7 together, they eat, train, and sleep together so there is no reason for the girls (or boys) to elope if they fall in love with one of their classmates.

Well considering that the amount of people leaving in same sex relationships would be much much smaller than people leaving in opposite sex relationships, it still makes sense.

This was a pretty big shock to Tsubaki, I’m looking forward to seeing how she deals with things going forward. I definitely foresee her going to interact with the men.

1) Mokuren's episode: Ah finally. The long-awaited Mokuren Episode, I love the fact how they expanded certain scenes to make it even more enjoyable and wholesome, especially the scene where she feeds the bird. Mokuren has been always one of my many favorite side characters in this show. Where the Anime/Manga really shines are the cast, it's really hard to decide which of them are best girl because Tsubaki, Benisumomo and Mokuren are extremely likeable in my book.

Misconceptions: I think, what most people are misunderstanding the anti-romance codex and Hana-sensei's feelings. She explicitly said it's been passed down to generation to generation, in other words Hana has no say in the matter and is forced to comply with the codex.

•Minor spoiler: She has a crush after all (presumably still loves him), and the crush just happens to be the sensei of the Aoi clan. Hana and the Man exchange each other the training schedule of their village so the girls and boys can't meet each other. It's necessary so that both clans can survive. Elopement amongst Ninjas is no joke.

Considering their abilities and the powers they have, I can tell how a ninja family might be valuable and also be in extreme danger at the same time.

You literally saw them evaporating a puddle with one fire-ball jutsu which also created a crater, transforming themselves into whatever object or individual they have seen, (Imagine a ninja with a perfect transformation jutsu, the perfect Infiltration method and also capable of causing a war by pretending to be the president), not to mention the other jutsus.

Yeah, abduction of kids seems like an unsavory but viable method of replenishing their numbers, but I feel like that would create its own problems in the long run.

i mean one of the adults could have a kid, come back and act like nothing happened and call it a "secret mission" or a "ritual" to the kids, but curiosity is gonna make a huge play and they are gonna end up seeing one of the teachers getting their back blown out and misunderstand it as "kidnapping or one of them got captured and now is being torture for answers." honestly i would pay to see this plotline happen in an show.
